Environmental Policy

We care about the environment and our carbon footprint. We strive to run a green office, and to do what we can to reduce our impact on the environment; we try to have environmentally responsible business practices and to make a commitment to our local and global communities.  The office itself is located within a new build, energy efficient house; 230 Edward St. has all new appliances, and all systems are updated and energy efficient. No energy is wasted on old heating systems or old, wasteful appliances. Our washroom facilities use hand clothes that can be washed (sanitized), rather than a single time use paper towel system, saving on paper waste.

We also recycle all paper used in the office, and attempt to use only what we need. We use an electronic filing system, cutting down on some paper use. Our machines in the office are turned off when we are not using them, and all use an ‘energy saver’ mode, also cutting down on emissions. Some staff bus or walk to work, as we are located in a convenient downtown (almost) location, cutting down on vehicle emissions.

Finally, our janitorial service uses only green certified products; the cleaners they use are all natural, and environmentally friendly.
