Find the Missing Piece to Your Puzzle
Whether you’re an aspiring real estate investor or an investor that owns a thousand units, you may, or may not, feel like you’ve completed your own life puzzle. The only difference between this feeling of completeness and the feeling of ‘needing to fill the void’ is your mind set and past conditioning. It has nothing to do with acquiring more belongings or, for the real estate investor, more properties.
To fill this void is not your goal. You may feel that after acquiring something you have strived for, you will ultimately feel completely satisfied. But if you believe this, you’re lying to yourself. This is because as soon as you complete your goal of filling the void you will create a larger shinier void to fill. In this mind set you have conditioned your mind that you will always need more.
By living in the present and by focusing on what you feel in the moment, you will create a feeling of completeness. You need nothing else to be complete. If you are one to feel incomplete, this feeling of satisfaction may seem like a myth, always spoken of by never seen or felt. For many real estate investors starting out I find that the majority want to have is a specific number of properties in a specific amount of times. It is important to create goals around this, but much more important to know why you want to create this in your life.
My point is this: if you’re constantly looking for those missing pieces in your life, you will continue to have many missing pieces because this is what you focus on. If you focus on what you appreciate and how abundant your life has become your puzzle will start to complete itself. To find the missing pieces to your puzzle (your life), all you need to change is your mind set and be conscious to the fact of that void.
